Milan and Tottenham Hotspur will appear in the 2019 International Champions Cup
(ICC) tournament in Singapore in July. All matches will be held at Singapore's
National Stadium, Kallang. This ICC 2019 schedule announcement in Singapore
took place on Wednesday (3/27/2019). The legends of the four elite clubs that
will compete, appear. They are Dwight Yorke (United), Francesco Toldo (Inter),
Fabrizio Ravanelli (Juventus), and Teddy Sheringham (Tottenham). The 2019 ICC
is worth the wait because this summer there will be no World Cup or European
Cup. Indeed there will be a Copa America involving a row of South American
stars. However, the players of the four clubs above Europe, are likely to be
taken on a preseason tour, and will greet fans in Singapore.
"Without a major
(international) tournament disruption (in Europe), hopefully all the big
players will perform for our Asian fans," the Straits Times quoted
Sheringham as saying on Wednesday (3/27/2019). Meanwhile, Yorke did not
dismiss, the arrival of European elite teams to Asia was indeed related to the
market. Therefore, competing in Singapore is also important to strengthen the
fan base of the teams. "We know that Asia is one of our biggest markets
and, of course, Singapore is very important. We want to feel connected to the
fan base, and we are excited to return (to Singapore), develop our brand
too," Yorke said.
For Manchester United, coming to Singapore will

occurred in 2001. At that time, United, who was reinforced by figures like Roy
